season 3 episode 5 leg 5

the 8 remaining teams rest before leaving the pit stop the first clue sends them to the western most point in continental europe. The allaince between Ken/Gerrard and Derek/Drew is back on and for some reason Andre/Damon have decided to follow them to santa amplaona station (where they arrved in lisbon last time) there is both a nearer train station and you can take taxis. The taxis are the quickest giving last place Aaron/Aariane a lead to get into the alliance Andre/Damon pay the other all guy teams money how stupid is that. Aaron/Aariane open the detour in first which is repel down a cliff or a long walk to the same clue all the teams try the repel including supprisingly Michael/Kathy who  have taken the less scary option each time so far but the time who abandons it is Flo/Zach due to Flos out of control fear and switch to the walk this only puts them behind Terri/Ian of the co-ed teams they still hold the lead over the all guy teams the clue sends them to algecirs spain and to ctach a ferry to tangier Morrocco however due to the distance they have to refuel there cars which proves to be difficult because the cars are one type and some teams are used to refueling cars another way this hurts no fewer than four teams and for two its serious damage Aaron/Aariane are stuck on the side of the road for ages and Derek/Drew don’t help them when they drive past although not sure how that would have helped. Michael/Kathy somehow break down near a hotel and decide to get a mechanic the next morning but there fate is almost sealed. Flo/Zach and Terri/Ian easily recover and are only an hour behind on the boats. The lead teams board the 7am boat after waiting a few hours at the port for it to open when in morrocco they head to a bus charter company with John Vito/Jill forced to wait for the two teams who didn’t lose the most time. Aaron/Aariane are on the third bus knowing they are unsure on Michael/Kathys whereabouts. The roadblock in Fez involves grabing a clue from a thing of dye which isn’t hard before heading to the pitstop at the borj nord. it is pretty clear whos eliminated but there is a tie between Flo/Zach and John Vito/Jill.

2. Andre and Damon (best leg yet and still have their fast foward)
3. Derek and Drew (how will they work with Ken/Gerrard now a team is following them which is stuck betwen them)
4. Flo and Zach (lucky but did best of the fuel problems) and John Vito and Jill (unlucky but still showing skills)
6. Terri and Ian (how are they still in it will never know oldest team yet to get this far)
7. Aaron and Aariane (hanging in there but will need a strong showing/ fast foward to stay in the race)
8. Michael and Kathy (eliminated) (thought it was Michales issues would send them home not fuel)
