season 1 episode 4

our heros continue through Viridan Forrest they run into a Weedle (a bug/poision type) ash uses Pidegotto to battle it and is about to win meanwhile Misty runs into a kid in a summari costume who is after trainers from pallet he stops ash just before he was about to catch Weedle they argue over it they than battle first Pidegotto battles sumari’s Pinsir because of exhaustion pidegotto loses he uses metapod that beats pinsir he than uses his Metapod in an endless battle of harden before a swarm of beedrill attack and grab ashes metapod he tries to recall it but fails  they than have to hide in summaris cabin he critiercies ash for not being good enough ash is upset about metapod though and the next morning he tries to rescue it when team rocket show up he grabs metapod and tries to apologise when he is about to be attacked by a beedril metapod evolves into butterfree and than puts the beedrill to sleep with a sleep powder attack as well as team rocket ash and misty say goodbye to samuari and than head to pewter city.
