Kangaroos vs Essendon mcg Friday night

The season got under way at the mcg with reigning premiers Essendon against the 1999 prmeirs kangaroos the previous meeting was a 125 point win to Essendon and looked like it would continue the trend with a 7 goal to three first quarter a close low scoring second quarter kept Essendon up before running away with it a 6 goal to two third quarter and a 8 goal to 3 last set up an 85 point win showing a poor preseason where they didn’t win at all doesn’t matter while it sets alarm bells off around the comp.
