the pups gather round to introduce themselves bird is immediately amazed at skyes flying abillity admits he always dreamt of flying but never did alice reveals she and bird want to help them meanwhile in foggy bottom mayor humdinger plans a scheme where he puts smelling gas into the air in an attempt to make people in adventure bay move to foggy bottom the smell scares everyone and they suspect something was done by humdinger however it backfires and makes foggy bottom smell as well he calls the paw patrol he sends chase to smell exactly where its coming from and has skye on standby and gets the other pups to look for clues bird sticks with skye to ask some questions when they realise it was put in the air they get skye to try and get rid of the thing when they realise it was above the towns but the smell is worse around it and she would have to manually deactivate it but she feels week bird than grabs a spare set of wings without anyone knowing and takes out the machine skye is feeling ok and tries to explain it but bird says he doesn’t smell things which is why he was able to defeat it when ryder offers him a position in the paw patrol as back up to skye he accepts he also lets alice help them when needed.
