the 9 teams depart santiago the first clue sends them to a car park which opened in the morning to drive through the andes to uspallata argentina a confrontation between rob/amber and debbie/bianca begins a bad day for one of them debbie/bianca get very lost driving on a highway for over two hours north instead of five minutes before turning east. susan/patrick are slowest leviang santiago but dont miss the exit though teams approach the yield with rob/amber worried they’ll be targeted good for them they narrowly get there first no one yeilds but the detour is either riding bikes on a rugged course or right water raft most teams choose the rafting but brian/greg choose the bikes and get a flat tyre. They than drive to el challhao where a bbq is taking place in an infamous roadblock eating four pounds of meat it is really hard for most, but uchenna eats so quickly that he rivals chip from season 5 on how well he does with an eating challenge it almost gives him and joyce first but a small mistake cost them first to lynn/alex in other news rob quits the roadblock and convinces meredith and deena to quit the task as well. Susan and patricks relationship deteriates to the point patrick almost quits but doesn’t. An early navigational mistake proves costly though in an elimination even though they did not quit the task as they where already way over 4 hours behind.
