today i am reviewing my trip to day dream island which is part 2 of my trip at the end of april/start of may 2021 trip that i did the flight up report earlier today. the boat trip to day dream island was smooth and nice we arrived where they had an employee explaning the features of the island the reception is usually quite noisy which is not good for people like me. the room was ok where i spent most of the time it has a not bad view and the wifi is good note for some weird reason the tv is on adelaide time not queensland time or southeast time (which is the same at that time of year only different in daylight savings). the wifi is quite good but can have porblems in the more remote parts of the island or in the resteruants. The pool is definately my highlight there are two on the island but stick to the coast walk not the so called tree top walk to get to the far one but they are both good and big and spacious. The meals where dissappointing there are 3 options on the island two are in the one buildign and a buffet not sure if covid effected the meals much. the living reef i think its called is beautiful though and apart from the tree top walk you can walk to relax pretty well. overall it was an ok resort but i recomend staying on hamilton island and taking a day trip. my treturn trip will be relased soon.
