welcome back to my blog it has been a while since i published anything today I am writing about my recent trip at the end of april/start of may 2021 to day dream island (which is the withsunday islands in Queensland) these are my personal opinions and are not skewed or biased.
flight no: va (virgin australia) 1281
class: bussiness (not always but was able to get an upgrade with points)
seat: 2a
aircraft: boeing 737-800
after flying in from albury the night before and staying at an airport hotel (which i don’t want to talk about apart for the internet). check in was smooth and went to the lounge which is located on the upper floor of sydneys terminal 2. The food wasn’t that good but better than on the plane (More on that in a moment). The flight boarded from gate 31 (which is really the first game in the terminal due to the design). Took my seat in the second (last row) of bussiness class (there are two rows in bussiness class on virgin). The flight left on time the meal service was not good the free meal with bussiness class was not eatable so we had to have the paid meal which is offered mostly for economy passengers not much better it was some sort of noodle thing. The entertaiment app i didn’t use except to check on the flight status but the things on it internet access will return in the future i understand. Charging ports work well and the crew where ok. we landed slightly early and made the transfer to cruise withsundays to day dream island which was much more organised than the return leg.
