chapter 3 “the inspector”
ash is hanging out with his new friends in the town working on his quick attack when word arrives that the inspector from the rescue team group is visitning the town which makes them a lot nervous as they had only just started doing rescues properally. Word is the inspector is a meganium (the finally evolved form of chikorita) which makes them nervous as its known for being a hard critic. When they are called to take on an hypno who is hypnotising castform into crazy weather in a nearby forest they ask the hopip from the previous chapter to tell the inspector what’s going on. The hypno refuses to stop using hypnosis on the castform forcing them to battle he than hypnotisess a staraptor to fight them which is a toughmatch as chikorita is week against it and is too quick for cyndaquil and todotile so ash has to fight one on one but uses quick attack to overcome the speed gap and finishes it off than the meganium turns up says it was watching the whole time but it wasn’t a test but instead was ready to intervene if needed chikorita realises it knows meganium btu not sure from where. They return to the village and are given some rewards from meganium and the accosiation.
