the nine teams depart brotas brazil to a highway marker to ride a zip line to their next clue not that hard the next clue sends them to moscow russia by bus to sao paulo and than plane. They race to a swimming pool centre due to expensive taxi costs some teams share cabs which will be critical eric/jeremy share with danielle/dani while joseph/monica share with dave/lori. The roadblock is diving into a swimming pool and swimming to a clue which is difficult for a few teams who are scared of water or heights or just can’t swim in the case of wanda putting her and desiree behind. Dannielle/dani leave their bag behind at the roadblock costing them time seperating from eric/jeremy and than going back to it. The next stop is noveldichiky monastry where the detour clue is cleaning a trolleybus at a hard to find location or searching through a lot of dolls for a clue the later is easier as its near impossible to find the trolley bus place. they race to st basils cathederial where they think it is a pit stop but when eric/jeremy arrive first they are told to keep racing and its a fake pitstop and given their next clue.
