the final 3 teams depart bangkok for an elephant pallace who gives them their clue that sends them to tokyo japan by plane the hippies who are familiar with japan fall behind early due to the flights the next clue sends them into the city and shibuya where there are sent to a statue of a famous dog and the detour of either walking a maiden in a heavy thing to a place or using bikes to deliver a message. they than spend the night at a capsule hotel before racing to fujiq highlights amusement park ray/yolanda continue to struggle with directions. the roadblock is riding amusement rides looking for a sign the hippies try and throw eric/jeremy off but doesn’t work the next clue sends them to a lake and the pit stop by swan boat. Ray/yolanda are spared by a non-elim but lose all their money and possesions except the clothes there wearing and their passports.
