teams must drive back to tokyo and fly to anchorage ray/yolanda struggle to get tickets but are on the same flight as the others via taipei. In alaska it is freezing cold they race to mirror lake for the last detour of the season of drilling holes and covering them with some weird thing the other choice was unavaible due to the weather. after another clue in alaska they are all equal again flying to their final city denver colorado on the same flight and they return to where the race started red rocks ampithetre for the final roadblock ordering the flags of the countries they went to. The hippies win a close race with eric/jeremy with ray/yolanda a distant 3rd. eric and jeremy only missed the top 2 once during the race a record.
