the race begins in seattle and the first clue sends them west for the first time to bejing china on one of two flights united or korean air. Erwin/godwin get in trouble with security while peter/sarah annoy teams by pre-boarding due to sarahs fake leg. In bejing the roadblock (first aired roadblock in the first leg ever) is eating fish eyes at the gold house resturant a hard to find place for the beauty queens and erwin/godwin especially. The next clue sends them to the forbiden city where they grab departure teams the last team bilal/saeed are eliminated right there shocking everyone as its not a pit stop. The next morning they have a detour of doing weird choreography or making bricks the later is easier but tom/terry and kellie/jamie do the routine. They race to the great wall where they have to climb david/mary think their last but aren’t and yipul/arti are eliminated.
