‘bad to the bone’
ash asks professor oak for advice on the pokemon league he says he should just try his best. Ash runs into a trainer named otoshi who challenges ash to a battle for ihs gym badges but ash wins the match otoshi tells ash that his badges where stolen it turns out due to team rocket and jessie steals the badges from james and meowth to enter the league herself. Meanwhile otoshis main pokemon marowak runs away from him. Otoshi confronts jessie but is unable to beat him until marowak turns up after realising their bond and wins the battle getting otoshis badges back. Ash heads on to the indigo pleateu.
next time the pokemon league torch relay and ash is nervous.
