the teams depart mozembique for dar es salam tanzania and the island of zanzibar the flights are tricky to book the direct flight no one gets on due to the hajj pilgramiage so they all go via johenesburg however through standby lists bad luck (eric/danielle are thrown off a flight when they got tickets by accident) the gap is nearly 27 hours between first and last at one point putting team guido in the unwanted position again of being a record gap behind with terri/ian. The detour was solving a puzzle or loading logs. The roadblock is hitting a target charla/mirna win the leg and terri gets her wish as she and ian are eliminated.
