as ash and friends start to plan to travel back to pallet town when they run into a bunch of pirates attacking a school of lapras (ash and friends accuse team rocket wrongly about it but they where attacked too) and the lapras are scared of humans its a difficult thing to take on the pirates and convince the lapras but it works and ash releases lapras back to its school.
