the 9 teams leave salzburg austria for bucharest romania via the airport in munich. Teams misjudge how far the airport is and tammy/victor should be in the lead with the best flight but it turns around in the air putting them on the last direct flight brad/victoria do even worse going via amsterdam and miss the connection (all other teams go direct). the first stop in romania is a gynasium for the roadblock of doing gynmastics not that hard before taking a train to translvania this equals all the teams except brad/victoria. In brasov (translavania) the detour is either loading families items onto a cart or opening a coffin. Victor leads tammy up a hill thinking he saw an arrow pointing that way that was not on yellow colour costing them a lot of time amanda/kris are first to finish the detour but leave their bag behind costing them first place. Brad/victoria do well at trying to catch up but their fate is sealed.
