the 16 players arrive by truck and get to unload supplies. sierra is obviously sick during the ride. In a twist both tribes get to vote somebody out of the hike jalapao selects sandy as she is the oldest although stephen gets sydneys vote. sierra gets all but brendans votes on timbira (brendan votes for erinn). the vote doesn’t elmiinate them from the game just the treck to camp (they ride in a helicopter). sandy and sierra are given a clue to a one off hidden immunity idol or to help with shelter sandy looks for the idol first and can’t find it sierra builds the shelter which helps the tribes impression but in coachs view is too little too late. coach and brendan form an early alliace that won’t last. carolina thinks shelter is important and overvoices her opinion. sandy still looks for the idol but can’t find it. tyson goes easy attitude goes a little too far. the first challenge for immunity and reward is a race across sand hills to grab a puzzle boat and than untie it to build a staircase puzzle and than a table maze puzzle. the staircase is done by the older jalapao and the younger timbira members which is a different strategy. jalapao lead slightly early but timbira are quicker getting the pieces to the puzzle. jalapao take the lead on the staircase but the table maze is tricky and spencer and sydney lose to brenden and erinn sending jalapao to tribal and winning timbira flint as well as immunity. the vote looks like being sandy until carolina talks too much even saying clean up (which is a weird thing to say) and her bossiness. carolina is voted out 7-1 over sandy.
