11 teams keep racing through australia. the cowboys are still struggling at the nauctical flags while the other teams get a clue sending them to from sail to stop in sydney town hall to sign up for charter flights at a anchor the charter flights are to broken hill. with 6 teams on the first charter and 5 on the second. finding the anchor is very hard as the clue is very vague some teams take the ferry others take taxis but neither are really helpful if you don’t know where your going. the lead teams get so lost they are only ahead of the cowboys in signing up for the 2nd flight. the first flight carries keisha/jen, zev/justin, jamie/cara, margie/luke, mel/mike and kynt/yvxsin the other 5 teams are 25 minutes behind but this allows the cowboys to catch up to 4 teams. the clue sends them to the living desert where the next clue is the first detour of the race of either “spirit world’ is making a ground mosaic and than dance on top of it (which is odd) or “natural world” of making a painting an odd way. all teams choose spirit world but amanda/kris will have to do both. kynt/yvxsin finish it 1st but don’t realise they have to dance on the work so zev/justin finish the task 1st with margie/luke close behind the next clue sends them to centreal football club “home of the magpies”. ron/christina disagree about the mosaic putting them neck and neck with amanda/kris for last place. the next task is using the peridoic table to find the two streets that intersect from the peridoic table (mercury and bismuth) but they have to find it dressed up as kangaroos which in the heat could be tricky many teams work together on the task margie loses her kangaroo foot costing them a chance of 1st. the pitstop is junction mine it is a close race apart from zev/justin for 1st winning them their first first place and a trip to cancun. the cowboys pass several teams when getting ready to head to the pit stop. gary/mallory work with ron/christina but the later don’t trust them on the way to the pit stop. amanda/kris fail to catch up from the u-turn and are eliminated.
