teams head to a tea shop first which annoys some teams for staying in china the trick is that the tea will be done again later in this leg. the next clue sends them to culcutta india on the same flight evening the teams. the first clue sends them to the townhall where teams make fun of mallory for not finding the clue but it didn’t open till 10am. the next morning teams receive the roadblock clue which is a tea tasting challegne finding the tea from china out of a lot of tea which is very hard ron gets it 1st with a clue on a snapple bottle most other teams just guess luke struggles the most with it. most teams get it eventually although the snapple bottle confuses some teams. luke has a meltdown during the task when he couldn’t get it for a while. the detour is at a tea store of “hindu art” making a painting of ganesh a certain way or “benghazi litreature” of delivering childrens books to a school in a rickshaw school bus. the books are easier but only gary/mallory the cowboys and zev/justin choose it. back at the roadblock flight time and luke are struggling still but the globetrotters get the clue before margie/luke. gary/mallory are 1st to get the pit stop clue sending them to the fountain of joy. kent/yvxsin enjoy the painting task while ron struggles with the noise. luke eventually finishes the roadblock and gets a round of applause. gary/mallory win the first taste of snapples new tea as well as indian entertaiment and 1 million rubbies (20000 us dollars). the race for 2nd is close a mistake from the globetrotters gives margie/luke hope but its not enough to save them and they are the 4th team elimiated from the same first season.
