on the way back to pallet town ash misty and brock arrive in viridian city where mistys sisters have been trying to contact her it turns out they have won a cruise and want misty to look after the gym. Misty doesn’t want to go but knows she has to and is not happy with ash’s reaction. but the inviciable pokemon brothers try and attack ash and friends for team rocket but get caught in their trap anyway. ash and friends get out and than ash says goodbye to misty and brock (who has to go home for some reason as well). when back in pallet town ash finds gary has already left but catches up to him and ash realises he should go for the hoenn league next but team rocket try and take pikachu but fail.
next time team rocket attack the boat.
