mayor humdingers kitties have a weird sound. while ryder and robodog are out of town. mayor humdinger makes a invention to make the kittens meows into barks which creates confusion and problems around adventure bay so the pups have to stop them. so katie leads the rescue even though she is nervous. mayor humdinger constantly tries to interfere and initally succeeds but eventually things end ok.

the pups are cleaning captain turbots deck when captain turbot loses his glasses when looking for a fish its gets slippery and needs help so the pups have to rescue him from daring dannys skateboard and than they get the glasses from some crabs.
