andy/tommy former olympic snowboarders (both have made the team of the olympics)
ethan/jenna former survivor winners and dating (ethan has had cancer since survivor)
lawence/zac father/son adventurers (zac is the youngest to sail round the world solo)
ernie/cindy recently engaged (cindy is a control freak she admits)
justin/jennifer brother/sister (have a weird relationship)
bill/cathi married grand parents (overconfident despite age)
liz/marie twin sisters (talk about being twins)
jeremy/sandy dating (both are divorced from someone else)
ron/bill domestic partners and flight attendants (confident there experience as flight attendants will help)
amani/marcus married 10 years (marcus was a professional footballer)
kaylani/lisa former vegas showgirls (they think people will think there dumb)
the rules are pretty normal the express pass is back which is allowed to be used till the 8th leg. the first challenge is a word puzzle to name their first destination taipei taiwan the last team to do this task will recieve a penalty called the hazard. the scramble for umbreals not easy. it is hard to get the letters right. andy/tommy are 1st to get it supprisingly than amani/marcus followed by liz/marie than ethan/jenna. jeremy/sandy get it next than ernie/cindy the flights are china airlines or eva air (with china airlines being 20 minutes earlier) ron/bill get it next than bill/cathi and than lawence/zac meanwhile andy/tommy stop at a gas station for directions. its between justin/jennifer versus kaylani/lisa to avoid the penalty with justin/jennifer avoiding it. kaylani/lisa will get the penalty and stop at the gas station that the guys stopped at and drop their passport on the ground and accidently leave it when they realise its gone. only bill/cathi liz/marie are on the 2nd flight with kaylani/lisa who are almost eliminated due to the passport problem. kaylani/lisa head to lax and hope somebody picked it up luckily someone does find it because they will be elminated otherwise twitter is what resuces them. teams also recognise ethan/jenna from survivor and some people think its greedy they admit they got a target. it turns out they had talked to andy/tommy earlier in the day. the clue sends them to a commerical district by bus and look for a bilboard bil/cathi fall behind of the 2nd flight while marcus lies about his occupation. looking up at the commerical district to find a clue is not easy as its in chinese some teams just go round randomly jenna says that everything is in the colors some teams go past it literally. amani/marcus find it first but don’t think its right several teams follow the wrong signs justin/jennifers relationship is in trouble amani/marcus figure it out still in 1st with ron/bill and justin/jennifer also figuring it out they go to the next destination confuscious temple ernie/cindy and jeremy/sandy figure it out as well as the 2nd bus arrives but both all girl team walk pass it while bill/cathi get lost. andy/tommy figure it out next as does ethan/jenna some teams take cabs others take the subway. the next clue is the roadblock of learning a saying from a telephone and than repeating it word for word to a monk. sandy, cindy, amani and jennifer take the roadblock for the lead teams i can’t tell out of ron/bill whose doing it ethan takes the roadblock. its tricky to remeber it takes a few attempts ethan even adds an s while sandy mises a word as does jennifer its quite tricky. cindy gets it 1st and travel to a river side park jennifers not far behind leading to a big cheer from justin. andy/tommy turn up at this point tommy takes it sandy gets it at this point. at this stage the girl teams figure it out at the same time the confusicious temple clue while bill/cathi are hopelessly lost. zac takes the roadblock for his team ethan gets it next. the next task is joining a dragon boat race team with one paddling and the other using a drum. some teams than get the roadblock with ron/bill slipping quite a bit in the rankings but the first flight teams all finish before the girl teams show up. teams start doing the dragon boat task ernie/cindy are 1st to get the pitstop clue at a shrine. ernie/cindy win the express pass for 1st place with jeremy/sandy and justin/jennifer getting the next clue not long after. kaylani/lisa get the clue in 9th and are sent to their hazard going to a shop mall to do a bungee jump into the mall. meanwhile liz is still doing the roadblock but are still ahead of bill/cathi. more teams start the dragon boat task as ethan/jenna finish. andy/tommy finish the task next than lawence/zac and amani/marcus while bill/cathi are still looking for the clue to the temple which they finally get. liz can’t get it still but after another missed attempt get it before bill/cathi turn up cathi takes the roadblock. meanwhile kaylani/lisa catch ron/bill at the dragon boats. bill/cathi finsh the roadblock a bit quicker but are still last. liz/marie are still not last on the dragon boat. bill/cathi arrive at the pitstop last but are spared by a non-elim leg but must complete speed bump and the next leg for the first time will be a double elimination leg.
