the teams are told of a new twist that if you win the first and last leg you win 2 million dollars. the first task is repelling off the bridge for the first clue. its not that hard to repel but some teams are faster than others even though there are fears of heights. gary/will argue a bit. the first clue sends them to shanghai china on one of two flights. the flights are via taiwan either china airlines or eva air with the first flight carrying 7 teams. the first flight has jaymes/james, caitlin/britany, james/abba, abbie/ryan, amy/daniel, (josh/brent give up their spot by mistake) as the last two spots are natalie/nadiya and rob/kelly on the first flight. the first stop is a sports stadium james/abba are first to get a cab at the airport. abbie/ryan are exhausted from a 17 hour flight. the next clue is a roadblock of playing tabble tennis against a junior local champion score a point you get a clue. abbie takes the roadblock as does daniel as usual can’t tell all one gender teams yet. rob/kelly are confused and lost natalie takes the roadblock. but its tricky hitting it and every round he uses a different item. rob/kelly are searching the wrong area. no one is having any luck with the tabble tennis. abbie gets it the 2nd attempt putting her and ryan in the lead sending them to a resturant. james (of james/abba) gets it next and passes them. kelly takes the roadblock. james (of jaymes/james) is 3rd to get the clue. caitlin is doing the roadblock for her team and are 4th. daniels 5th to get the clue. natalie is having trouble with the task but gets it before kelly who gets it before the 2nd flights landed. the next clue is another roadblock of eating a chinese dessert with chopsticks (fallopian tubes) but they can’t pick up the plate or the pripaya. abba, amy, britany, jaymes, nadiya, rob (rob/kelly) and ryan takes it. the next clue sends them to the bund to find a person using a abacus which is not hard to eat early. the 2nd flight is only landing now. as teams finish eating. trey took the table tennis task and gets it quickly. as teams have trouble finding the clue rob (rob/shiela) does it on the 2nd attempt keeping them 9th. rob (rob/kelly) misdoes the task. gary gets the clue in 10th from the tennis as josh/brent turn up josh takes the task and not far behind. rob makes an error picking something he doesn’t need. finding the abacus isn’t easy but amy/daniel get it 1st sending them to the signal tower pitstop observatory they give help to abbie/ryan and caitlin/brittany (which will hurt them soon) as they end up in a foot race to the pitstop which abbie/ryan win the option of 2 million dollars if they win the last leg amy/daniel are close 2nd. jaymes/james are very lost finding the pitstop before the abacus. natalie/nadiya find the pitstop clue in 4th. rob/shiela are very lost finding a bank not the abacus which costs them time after the roadblock. rob/kelly are 5th to get the pitstop clue as the teams with a guy named james are lost. james/abba finally get the pitstop clue and check in 6th. jaymes/james have seen the 2nd flight catch em and gary/will throw them off the direction. the last few teams are still looking. gary/will get the clue in 8th and say they will do anything to win even lie. trey/lexi are 9th ahead of rob/shiela who are still not last as jaymes/james get the pitstop clue leading to a foot race and rob/shiela are eliminated (next time hope there’s not that many people with the same name again)
