they are welcomed by jeff split randomly for the first challenge which is searching for a medalion of power after a discussion which sees how people think. kelly b has only one good leg due to amputation. marty says he is happy with the team he thinks he recognises jimmy johnson a former nfl coach. the challenge is looking for the medalion of power the person who claims it gets it for their tribe. they start running immediately and looking in the end brenda finds it after spotting it quickly with janes help she gets it. alina notices kelly b has an amputated leg. marty is happy about the medalion of power being on his tribe or so he thinks as they don’t know yet the tribes are split by age which is done immediately although appartenly no one is between 30 and 40. jimmy j is not happy to be on the older tribe one of the oldest ever to play survivor. brenda is given a choice of what to do with the medalion she can keep it or get fire in the form of flint and fishing gear they give up the medalion despite naonka wanting to keep it yve makes fun of their age. brenda gives the medalion to marty. the tribes head out shannon thinks the older people need it more and is arrogant. espada the older tribe are mostly happy to have jimmy j on their tribe some of the tribe are supprised at that including dan.wendy and holly already form an alliance on hollys idea saying she trusted her right away. wendy though talks too much already why her husbands thinks she’ll go first she says is from montant but marty thinks she’s weird. jane gets fire started quickly with glasses following instructions from a book jeff the host wrote she is a recent widow as her husband died not long ago. marty is amazed they got it started so quickly (within 30 mintues) the young tribe are excited sash thinks they will dominate the game because being young. fabio is also excited about being on the young tribe and gets the name fabio (he was jud) and is the first dumb blonde shannon has encountered. shannon and chase form an alliance early in terms of strength they are good saying the alpha males will be targeted takes the meet shield strategy already which we see later series shannon wants a man to win. kelly b is worried that people when they find out about her being an amputee but wants to prove she is physically capable and some of the tribe aren’t supprised about the knee. shannon feels like she’d get the sympathy vote (refering to kelly b) but wants to target her. naonka is already being mean about it. the first night sees espada excited about the fire while jimmy j is already sick due to overdoing it. jimmy t is worried about jimmy js being weak. on day 2 the lack of sleep is effecting jimmy j and the conditions he is a big fan of the show though and its a new experience for him. on la flor brenda and chase bond with brenda saying she knew jimmy j because she was a former cheerleader. but chase is worried about being in 2 alliances and is now in the middle. brenda says she is used to people coming to her without doing anything. alina and kelly b find a cryptic clue to the idol which makes no sense as they are harder to figure out this season. alina is not happy to find the clue with kelly b. treemail indicates the first challenge is confusing. jimmy j know he needs to improve and says he doesn’t think he’d win a million dollars but would like some person to win from their tribe which excites them. at the challenge they explain he goes by fabio and kelly s goes by purple kelly. tyronue says they can’t take it easier on people. the first part is porurring water and than angle it to get puzzle pieces and than solve a puzzle tribe who finishes first wins immunity. the older tribe doesn’t use the madilion of power despite it giving them a bucket lead. the pouring part isn’t too hard but the younger tribe starts bette but the older tribe keeps pace between holly and naonka on the pouring the younger tribe gets the pieces first but not much difference its the woman on the puzzle for both tribes it is close going into the puzzle. the young tribe gets off to a quick start and wins convicingly despite an early mistake sending the older tribe (espada) to tribal. brenda says she would have used the medalion of power. preparing for tribal the older tribe aren’t happy to lose jimmy t is not that happy. jimmy t wants to vote jimmy j and doesn’t want to be ignored and he needs to calm down (his words not mine). jimmy j says its him or wendy as the weakest. holly is worried about the delima about who to vote. wendy is nervous and concerned that she will go which is true. they discuss keeping the tribe strong as important. marty does not like jimmy j. at tribal they ask about first impressions jane thinks she is a hillybilly but jill says she is a mygver and good. jimmy t says the first moments where important for impressions. jimmy j says people could be annoyed at him as leader but could be a help. marty says people got to be careful about being preceived as a leader. more than half the tribe are concerned about going home. holly is worried about the alliance. wendy thinks the lack of connection with the tribe was the cause. yve says she never asks a woman an age nor does tyronue desipte wendy thinking that. before the vote wendy gives a speech that doesn’t help her chances and is voted out 9-1 over yve (weird throw away vote)?.
next time holly wants to quit shannon goes way too far and brenda a big threat.
