6 teams depart turkey for moscow russia and when they land they make their way to a suclpture park. abbie/ryan feel like natalie/nadiya are hanging on to trey/lexi to u-trun them. james/abba aren’t 100 percent physically. trey/lexi go to aliltalia not aeroflot which is confusing so they eventually try air france/klm instead which is not helpful before figuring it out. abbie/ryan book turkish airlines to frankfurt and than aeroflot with a 340am arrival time with a hour layover which is way too dangeorus if season 11 is any indication. james/abba book a flight arriving at 2am via amsterdam (which is illogiocal). trey/lexi and natalie/nadiya go via munich arriving 4am. jaymes/james get the 2am flight. trey/lexi consider abbie/ryan are a bit rude. josh/brent book the frankfurt flight 340am which is dangerous instead of 5am which they should take the athens flight (the 5am one). the frankfurt flight is delayed an hour making the connection impossible as 3 minutes is not a legit time to connect and they miss it and there is no flight that night out of frankfurt due to curfew. the lead teams land in moscow with jaymes/james joking that its the first time they are with james/abba. abbie/ryan and josh/brent get a flight via warsaw from frankfurt arriving 310pm (that is 11 hours behind the nearest team). the suclptor park cuts it to just under 6 hours openin at 930am. trey/lexi are right that the trailing teams missed their flight. the next clue sends them to a most for some reason to ivan the terribles guards. james/abba are first to get the detour clue which is “alphabetized” where they must find four books from a list and than find them and retreive it. “syncronized” is sycronized swimming have to do it perfectly in time with the music (thats not easy). james/abba do the books as do trey/lexi. jaymes/james and natalie/nadiya choose the swimming. james/abba are stunned how big the library is and how tricky the task is. the swimming is quite hard though and natlie/nadiya conisder using the express pass on the task which would be a waste because of how far behind the teams are. jaymes/james aren’t getting the routine well. jaymes/james are failing at the swimming. trey/lexi start the library task as james/abba are looking but figure out a trick to the task that helps them. abbie/ryan and josh/brent decide to work together to catch up. james/abba switch to the swimming as natalie/nadiya try it. trey/lexi get the library task done quickly despite looking not being easy. no team is getting the swimming task done. natalie/nadiya consider the express pass but are talked out of it because of how far the other teams are behind. trey/lexi are well ahead finishing the detour sending them to the trees of love their next clue. jaymes/james are finally getting the hang of the routine and finish the task in 2nd. the next clue is the roadblock of unlocking 10 locks. trey takes the roadblock james/abba are quite lost finding the swimming task. james Of jaymes/james takes the roadblock with trey unlocking the first one and second. natalie/nadiya finish the detour in 3rd before james/abba arrive at the task. trey is quite far ahead at this point. james/abba start the swimming. trey/lexi are 1st to get the pitstop clue the bolshoi theatre. natalie takes the roadblock and doesn’t take too long. trey/lexi win a trip to maui hawaii. james finishes the task in 2nd ahead of natalie (who made a mistake). finally the trailing teams arrive in moscow. james/abba are failing at the swimming multiple times. the trailing teams must do swimming due to other task being closed for the night (the library). james/abba finally finish the swimming in 4th place. brent has trouble swimming and aren’t good at dancing either. abbie/ryan do ok though. james/abba get the roadblock clue and realises they need to pay their cab but can’t find him and the cab driver has their passports and money they keep going at the roadblock. abbie/ryan aren’t doing that bad but james/abba finish the roadblock in 4th and look for the cab before going to the pitstop when they realise they are mising a passport. abbie/ryan finish the swimming but wait for josh/brent who aren’t close and the pool will close soon.
