the race continues through moscow with james/abba having to find their passports. meanwhile josh/brent get one more attempt and fail at the swimming and only get more chance they will get a penalty as they go to the roadblock at the trees of love. james/abba ask for temporary passport. abbie and josh take the trees of love roadblock josh figures it out quickly and helps abbie. james/abba know they are in major trouble. at the pitstop abbie/ryan and josh/brent are shocked that a team is still on the course and are 4th and 5th.

leg 8 starts with teams racing to an agricutral accedemy and a chemistry audttorium. trey/lexi get dropped off in the wrong place a couple of times allowing jaymes/james to catch up but the clue won’t open till 8am and its not clear what time it is in the morning. teams are supprised that james/abba will have the speed ubmp. the next clue is a roadblock of getting the times for russian cities in a certain time. jaymes and lexi take the roadblock and it is not an easy task the judge of the task is quite mean. and its not an easy task due to them not realising that the time from moscow adding to it is not the utc time and the lead teams keep misisng that info but lexi figures it out eventually. it takes 12 attempts to get it right though. the next clue is the detour of “movers” requires teams to preform a weird dance which is quite hard to do in time with the music. “shakers” requires teams to identify 7 russian leaders lookalikes at a cocktail party. the lead teams take the dancing. natalie/nadiya are a bit lost despite their cab driver working for 37 years. james is worried abuot his ankle but it is quite hard task anyway. natalie/nadiya use the express pass on the roadblock and do the dancing detour. jaymes/james finish the dancing 1st sending them to the pitstop sokolinki park and a preformance pervilion with trey/lexi just behind them. natalie/nadiya are just turnig up at the dancing. meanwhile the long way back teams are starting to leave the pitstop. abbie/ryan are confident with the next task possible. jaymes/james win the leg in a footrace with trey/lexi winning a trip to costa rica. natalie/nadiya are solidly in 3rd after the detour. ryan takes the roadblock and also makes the same mistake of not realising how the times work and fails many times and is getting frustrated. josh/brent finally leave the pitstop from leg 7. james/abba are still working on getting a passport issued. ryan has failed over 20 times now until he figures it out on attempt 25 they take the dancing detour. brent takes the roadblock and gets it far quicker than anyone else they choose the russian leaders task. abbies skill in dance keep them in 4th. josh/brent decide to enjoy the experience and figure it out quickly again ending any hope for james/abba (even if they found the passport quickly). james/abba do a limo driving speed bump but we have no details as they are clearly eliminated.
