ash and friends continue their journey with team rocket as usual following them when they encounter something left over from a poacher. team rocket encounter the poacher and the poacher wants arbok and weezing as he is collecting them and has a powerful pupitar so team rocket try and get away and run into a cacnea (a grass type) who james bonds with. when they try and get the ekans and koffing away from the poacher team rocket find themselves in way over their head with the pupitar evoliving into tyranitar but they are able to quite emotionally get the pokemon away from the poacher. the poacher is arrested by officer jenny in front of ash and his friends. james ends up catching the cacnea filling the loss of his weezing jessie no longer has arbok.
next time a fight over a tree leads to a new pokemon for ash.
