11 new teams depart la (griffith observatory) on a race around the world.

the teams are told they will be heading to a new tropical paradise for the race as well as a challenge that they will take their breath away. win the first leg you get two express passes one for themselves and one for another team (they must give it befor the end of the 4th leg). the first clue sends them to bora bora via papiete on one of two flights with air tahiti nui being quickest (with five spots). at lax chuck/wynona are first there with indres/jamil and pam/winnie not far behind. jessica/john dave/connor bates/anthony and caroline/jennifer share a van but only two of them will join the lead teams on the first flight. chuck/wynona are shocked to be 1st with pam/winnie, idries/jamil, dave/connor and jessica/john join them on thefirst flight. caroline/jennifer are just behind but are on the 2nd flight. dave is scared of heights idries/jamil are scared of water. max/katie play the social game a bit at the airport to try and avoid a target. the teams arrive in tahiti after a local greeting the lead teams decide to form an alliance on the first flight that the top 2 finishes in the group get the express passes they all agree. the first clue in bora bora is a roadblock of skydiving out of a helicopter with 2 teams per helicopter from 10000 feet while there partner takes a boat to the clue. john, connor, chuck, jamil and winnie does it. some are excited about jumping for the first time. john jumps first and is in the lead with jamil not far behind as they race to eden beach. dave is proud of his son doing the jump. the next clue is another roadblock searching sand castles (400 of them) for a clue diging for it. so jessica, dave, idries, wynona and pam must do it. on the 2nd flight max, meghan, caroline, anthony, matt and mona (who skipped a line and is behind a spot). the sand castles is very hard in the heat. it is quite hard to get the clue in the heat. chuck/wynona are lost finding the sand castle clue. the 2nd flight teams skydive. jessica gets the clue 1st which asks them to use strength and ballance to use a canoe to the pitstop. jessica/john see a stingway and are quite enjoying it until they tip it. somehow bates gets the clue in 2nd place despite being 6th to start. katie is worried about it being out of her control. at this stage idries has been doing it for 3 hours appartently. the clues are very hard to find as dave who is exhasuted gets it in 3rd. against all odds beth goes from last to 4th in one go finding the clue. pam/winnie get it next. joey’s next much to the doctors annoyance. mona/beth are passed by pam/winnie on the canoes the doctors get it next. wynona is next to finish in 8th and pass indries/jamil (the doctors due to water problems). as the last 3 teams still strsuggle at the sand castles so max/katie lead them in taking the 4 hour penalty as a group which i don’t like at all as a strategy. matt/daniel are confident they can win the canoe race only to lose badly at the canoe race eliminating them max/katie do well and are 9th the country singers (caroline/jennifer are 10th).
