10 teams keep racing through borabora the first clue asks them to a water taxi to the hilton bora bora nui and a weding chappel for a blessing from a preist the taxis don’t start till 730am so the lead is cut. jessica/john are pulled aside by dave/connor about the express pass but don’t want it to be public knowledge. mona/beth claim they are the brat pack being ignored which are the 2nd flight teams that weren’t penalised. idries/jamil are tired of the water at this point. bates/anthony are confident about the lead they have. the chappel isn’t too hard to find dave/connor get the detour clue in 1st “pick a pearl” requires teams to harvest pearls in open water must untie shells to find two red pearls. “take a trunk” requires teams to dive into the water deliver a trunk and make a underwater dining experience. most teams pick the pearl dave/connor don’t get the snorkeling gear costing them time mona/beth are the only team in the lead group to do the trunk. dave/conor go back to get the gear costing them time. the water is quite beautiful but tough challenge. mona/beth are worried about openwater having never done it before. idries/jamil are petrified of water and almost immediately take the penalty. joey/meaghen do well as a team at the task. idries/jamil struggle in the water and almost give up quickly. joey/meaghen gets one first than jessica/john and bates/anthony. meanwhile the two penalised teams are happy to be closer to the pack which i don’t think is fair. dave got a peral quickly but joey/meaghen are 1st to finish just ahead of jessica/john and bates/anthony. joey/meaghen get the clue saying they have to go by watercraft to motu tapu another island. dave/connor finish quickly in 4th. mona/beth finish the other detour in 5th place. the trailing teams finally leave the pitstop and are closing in on struggling idries/jamil. chuck/wynona are 6th out of the detour. the trailing teams to do the trunk detour. pam/winnie finish the detour in 7th but struggle on the jet ski. joey/meaghen are first tot the roadblock which is ballancing on stilts while kicking a coconut but if they fall must go back to the start and the thing stays. connor, joey and jessica and anthony take the roadblock.pam/winnie are very lost going to the roadblock even saying they’ll go to california. chuck takes the roadblock but its showdown between connor and anthony for first with jessica in 3rd and joey in 4th. its a footrace to the pitstop between dave/connor bates/anthony and jessica/john for first but dave ruptures his achillies in the run and they only get 2nd. bates/anthony prize is london england. idries/jamil are still having trouble and need rescuing. joey is having trouble on the stilts against beth as chuck finishes 4th but joey beats them in a footrace. pam/winnie are quite lost the penalised teams start doing well at the trunk detour and finish the detour ahead of idries/jamil who are way behind and can’t get the pearl. beth finishes 6th putting her and mona still in the race. idries/jamil switch detours while pam/winnie are barely ahead of the penalised teams. pam takes the roadblock and is having trouble caroline does the roadblock and does better than max. caroline/jennier are 7th to the pitstop as idries/jamil finally finish the detour. max finishes 8th what a comeback for the penalised teams. pam/winnie know they are in the bottom 2 and pam can’t get it as idries/jamil close in but its too little too late for the doctors.
