franchesca arrives on reedmption island and is worried about how she can sleep after all that happened she reads the rules of redemption island but is a relief. after tribal rob says it was one of the wildest he has ever been part of kristina is upset about the situation but still has an idol. phillip pledges to rob his loyality for the long term. rob says this is his alliance to everyone else in the tribe but phillp and kristina. the next day phillip goes crab hunting and is impacted emotionally after what happened. on zapaterra everyone is happy ralph even crows russell says they are not bright the tribe and thinks ralph is dumb russell approaches krista about an alliance and discuss the possible clue to an idol. he starts looking for the idol but is spooted by steve who tells mike but its ralph who finds the idol while looking for rocks (he drops the rocks) he decides to keep it secret for now. on omtepe matt and andrea are bonding and are a bit too close bonding over matts religious belifs. rob approaches natalie about a long term final 3 alliance and they think andrea should go as being dangerous or maybe phillip. the challenge for immunity/reward ralph says they will get it back phillip is annoyed at that comment and brings more craziness. the challenge is swim out to a platform break a thing and get a key than get 5 keys to open a box and than get a ball to break five tiles first to open them wins immunity. zapatera sit out david. grant and steve (Both ex nfl players go first) grant gets an early lead and gets the key first time but steve isn’t bad. ashley goes next and sarita sarita struggles a bit costing zapatera time as matt extends the lead over julie. Andrea belly flops and gets a good lead as russell tries to catch rob making up a bit of time as mike tries to catch rob as natalie does the locks and stephenie does the locks and stephenie gets the lead for zapatera out of nowhere. leading to ralph tosing against phillip phillip gets omtepe back the lead than ralph equals and ralph gets the 2nd and 3rd as phillip keeps missing and ralph gets 4 -phillip gets his 2nd ralph just misses as phillip closes in 4-3 and than phillip equals 4-4 but ralph still gets it to win immunity and fishing gear as matt goes to shake the zapateras tribe hands which annoys everyone. omtepe have to go to tribal. on zapatera the weather turns bad and russell gets the clue but the idol is already found as the tribe thinks ralph was awesome in the challenge he admits to the majority about the clue while russell tells his allies about the preformance in the challenge. the majority are annoyed about the clue mike thinks russell is the most untrustworhy. russell tells mike about saritas preformance but it turns into an argument about the clue with ralph and mike. russell openly lies about it and uses robs old quote “your with me or against me” david turns up at some point during this discussion. ralph says he doesn’t need the idol at this point. russell is skepctical of ralphs abillity in the game. on redemption island franchesca is feeling down a bit. she is nervous about having to live with phillip again. omtepe are feeling down about the challenge phillip leads to a few comments that doesn’t help and admits he cost the tribe. kristina knows she most likely will have to play the idol and phillip says he is not worried despite the situation. rob talks to grant about getting rid of matt due to the hand shaking and tells ashley as well but tell the others to split the votes between kristina and phillip. rob knows the real plan and hopes kristina plays the idol. matt is awestruck by rob which is a big problem for him. rob is worried that phillip will reveal any plans at tribal. kristina is asked about the attention and she is now wearing the idol around her neck she has a bit of a feeling about playing it. phillip talks about a powerful animal is involved in a weird way which is not helpful. phillip even calls franchesca his nemesis if he goes home. matt says people are talking about redemption island and when people will come back. in the end kristina plays her idol (before jeff finishes asking) (earliest idol play ever still stands as a record) in the end she didn’t need to as matt is voted out 4-2-0 over phillip with two votes against krsitina not counted in a total blindside.
next time zapatera must choose between getting rid of russell and a tarp plus the first duel on redemption.
