max/katie decide to ring ahead to book tickets to bali landing at 830am. it is a lucky break for chuck/wynona to still be in the race. dave/connor get the 830am arrival as does pam/winnie and caroline/jennifer via perth. joey/meaghen find jessica/john and have trouble getting flights they go via singapore arriving 1205pm. the other teams go via kuala lumper at 1205pm. but jessica/john and joey/meaghen get a 1035am arrival from singapore. pam/winnie are confident they could win a leg. the next clue is a detour of “sandy bottom” requires teams to collect sand from a river and transport it up hill to a brick maker once its full they get a clue. “fruity top” requires teams to prepare a reliigous offering and than get blessed by a preist. dave/connor choose fruity top as does all the lead teams. joey/meaghen are happy to be in bali early. dave does well despite his injury on the fruit task. the last flight is only landing when the middle teams get the detour clue they both pick fruity top originally. bates/anthony are quite lost in their cab. mona/beth pick the sandy bottom detour (the only team to go their right away). pam/winnie are trying to be perfect and are first to finish the task with dave finding an error that they fix so are 2nd into the procession. pam/winnie get the clue in 1st sending them to uluwatu surf beach. with dave/connor close behind. jessica/john are quite confident they won’t need the express pass. caroline/jennifer finish the detour in 4th jessica/john go to the wrong place and start working there before figuring out they are wrong. joey/meaghen onjy just start on that at the same time as jessica/john. bates/anthony are quite behind getting the detour clue. chuck/wynona just arrive at the detour as bates/anthony lose a lot of time at the monkey place originally pick the sand but switch when they can’t find it. the roadblock is searching for a certain one of something they have seen before (tahiti preist) and bring it to th epitstop winnie takes the roadblock and is quite quick at findnig the right one. connor takes the roadblock and finds it quickly max takes the roadblock. carroline takes it. jessica/john are having trouble at the detour and consider starting over jessica wants to use the express pass. connor and winnie talk about who has seen phil and leads to a footrace and dave/connor win the leg with max also getting it quickly. dave/connors prize is 5000 dollars each. john stubbornness is getting annoying to jessica as joey/meaghen finish the detour. as jessica/john switch detours. caroline is having more trouble with the surfboards. mona/beth are 6th out of the detour. caroline tries a bali board which is wrong. chuck/wynona finish the detour ahead of bates/anthony and jessica/john. caroline again overthinks it. joey/meaghen go to the wrong beach. caroline finally figures it out as meaghen is exhausted chuck does the roadblock having jumped to 5th joey takes it. john still won’t use the express pass. beth (i think takes it). chuck is quite lost finding the pitstop as jessica/john are still at the detour. can’t tell out of bates/anthony who takes it but they see it quickly. mona/beth get the answer and chuck/wynona don’t. john takes the roadblock but is it too little to late. jessica tells wynona about the express pass but don’t use it and are eliminated.
