russell tells matt what happened including the lie about who was on redemption and is sitll confident he can win. on omtepe phillip is working while everyone is sleeping which annoys the tribe especially natalie and grant. phillip goes on the hunting for crabs and is quite unhappy with the tribe. krista and stephenie are not happy with their tribe and aren’t havin fun. ralph tells the majority of the tribe he has an idol (except krista and stpehnie) and the majority are estatic. treemail asks two tribe members to witness the duel again. phillip and kristina will go for omtepe while ralph and sarita go for zapaterra. russell knows he needs to win in a good versus evil contest. the challenge is stacking blocks on a multi level platform avoiding trip wires so they can fall like dominoes first to smash a tile stays in the game. it is not an easy challenge matt has a slight lead at this point and goes first and doesn’t succeed. russell gives it a go and just short. matt gets it the second time sending russell home and has ralph and sarita happy and russell upset and emotional he makes ralph reveal he had the idol in his farewell words and blames his tribe for not playing fair. phillip is happy with the information. russell says he won’t return to survivor (he does though years later in the australian version). while the duel is on rob decides to look for the idol by distracting his tribe so he can look for it he finds the idol in the end though even though the clue is no help. ralph and sarita tell the zapatera tribe that russell is gone (and accidentally reveal that matt had beaten franchesca). the tribe argues over the thrown challenge still with mike going a bit far calling russell a plague. phillip decides to tell rob the info in exchange for keeping kristina in (what a dumb move). phillip tells the guys what happened. grant says there is no trust in phillip at this point. treemail indicates they are building something and julie is worried about karma hurting the tribe. the challenge is quite complicated and uses the tool kit after doing an obstacle course in a certain way using tools wins immunity and reward (reward is a bbq set). zapaterra sit out krista. rob and ralph start on the crowbar and ralph gets a good lead for zapterra julie uses the shovel against grant into diging up a hatchet. julie gets it first but its still close ralph goes again using the hatchet against rob and holds the lead. mike and steve untie the saws versus phillip and grant in cutting through. stephenie and sarita almost lose the lead against rob and kristina on the puzzle bridge but still lead. zapatera lead but not by much as stephenie works on the knots against ashley but zapatera win the challenge. back at camp zapatera are estatic and mike is happy to have food. david is quite happy that they don’t have to vote someone out. phillip again says they need to have his pre-tribal speech. the girls can’t stand phillip at all ashley just wants him gone. kristina thinks she has a chance but without an idol knows she is not safe. the majority split the votes between kristina and phillip but most want phillip gone anyway. ashley pleads the case to grant to get rid of phillip and pleads his case to rob. phillip pleads his case as well. kristina is nervous about being voted out as she is on the wrong side of the numbers but won’t give up. natalie says second chances are great and that kristina is nice grant also agrees. rob says is it too late to give her a shot. kristina says they should vote out the weak link and calls phillip disruptive. he disagrees which is not true and throws it back at kristina. it is clear who is on the choppping block. in the end kristina is voted out 4-3 over phillip.
