10 teams depart iquque chillie for a deck of a ship that won’t open till the morning. the clue is tricky to spot but they need to repeat a phrase in spanish which can be tricky. brandon/adam jump from last to first getting a clue sending them to salt mines. teams figure out with locals help. the next clue is a detour of riding bikes with salt “grinding” requires teams to add salt to water enough to read the newspaper “mining” requires teams to break open bolders of salt to find a clue. brandon/adam choose mining as does ally/ashley. nicole (whose birthday) and travis choose grind. while rowan/shane are lost. leo/jamal choose mining. the biking to the detour is tricky. jason/amy choose griding ally/ashley switch detours. tim/marie choose the water as does nicky/kim while tim/danny choose the mining. the tasks are quite hard the next clue sends them by bus to santiago chile and plaza de amas with brandon/adam in the lead with leo/jamal in 2nd. chester/ephrehim are 3rd while rowan/shane finally get the clue and choose mining. the first bus leaves at 130pm with brandon/adam leo/jamal (it is a 24 hour bus ride). while jason/amy and nicole/travis finish the detour. chester/ephreim are on the 130pm bus as does jason/amy and nicole/travis. tim/marie end up at 2pm with ally/ashley nicky/kim (last out of the detour and just make it ) and tim/danny. rowan/shane take a 4pm bus that arrives last at 10pm they switch to a 3pm bus arriving 8pm. the first bus arrives and they are sent to plaza de armas for the roadblock clue of being a shoe shiner and than solve a puzzle of making a stand and deliver it amy does the roadblock nicole as usual its confsuing for the all one gender teams leo takes it. nicky/kim form a bond with tim over baseball (as one of theres is married to a friend). chester is doing the roadblock as does adam. chester finishes 1st sending them to a nature reserve pitstop. the teams finish the roadblock as leo/jamal don’t fully pay their driver and are sent back costing them 1st. chester/ephreim win a trip to turks and caicos. the 2nd bus arrives marie takes the roadblock danny, rowan/shane catch up. but the clue is confusing. nicky/kim think they’ll get the express pass. ashley did the roadblock and finishes 6th. with tim/danny finish 7th. rowan was doing the roadblock. danny did the roadblock. nicky/kim in a close race with rowan/shane. nicky was doing the roadblock and beats rowan in a close race with the guys eliminated.
