after tribal at redemption they are supprised to see grant (who is upset at the outcome) andrea is worried about the fact it is 3 strong guys against her in the final duel. at camp things are a little better and they are happy to be still in the game. rob considers getting rid of ashley a bigger priority than the people on redemption except grant. treemail indicates a final duel and they need to dig deep. the last duel is an endurance challenge which is trying to keep a vase intact for the longest last person left wins there way back the rest join the jury. the challenge goes quite a bit before anyone drops out after 20 minutes grant stants to wobble but recovers so does mike. after 40 minutes grant drops out first after an hour the other 3 are still strong andrea stretches it out but recovers but matt is out. leading to mike v andrea showdown both recover once in a difficult battle. and mike loses getting andrea back in the game. andreaas upset win gets her back in the game into the final 5. rob still wants to vote ashley out next. andrea says its odd to be back at camp and doesn’t feel welcome saying the guys are the biggest threats for jury votes. and wants phillip out. phillip reveals the plan to rob that the girls are talking about. the final 5 immunity challenge is racing out to get numbers from a ballance beam and than put them in order first to 100 wins immunity and a spot in the final 4. the ballance beam is tricky but everyone gets it though rob and ashley start well with andrea close and they continue to lead on the second bag. natalie and phillip are behind again but not as far out of it as normal. ashley still leads into the last bag. asley narrowly beats rob to win immunity. andrea says the plan is to vote out rob but needs the girls to do it. ashley wishes it was tomarrows challenge the tribe plans to vote andrea out and he even says it openly. rob doesn’t think he needs to use the idol. ashley is worried about phillip replacing her in the final 3 but natalie reasures her. rob and phillip openly talk in front of andrea about plans so she works on the girls. at tribal phillip continues to annoy people. rob says he asked phillip to keep an eye out of things. andrea says its tempting to take out rob. rob makes the case to take out andrea. in the end rob plays his idol negating andreas vote and sending her to the jury 4-0. the final immunity challenge is a big maze getting four bags of puzzle pieces and than solve a word phrase. the maze is quite complicated. natalie and phillip are again not doing much (but phillip is better than usual). phillip starts ok but rob and ashley are slightly ahead. rob tries to lose ashley but doesn’t work and they are neck and neck as phillip is lost. its close between rob and ashley all the challenge as natalie is out of it. it comes down to the word phrase. natalie only has one bag at this point. the phrase is quite tricky though the phrse is “only you are safe” and rob barely beats ashley and moves into the final 3. the vote is between ashley and phillip rob tells them both they are safe. rob decides to vote out ashley because of friends on the jury. natalie conisders a tie but it will be risky. ashley feels it was a bummer to lose the challenge. natalie hopes rob stays loyal. in the end ashley is voted out 3-1 over phillip. on day 39 they are releaved to be at the end. natalie is quite happy at 19 to be at the end. rob gives pointers to natalie for the jury questioning but they are really just how he wants her to think. phillip burns his famous shorts before the final tribal. in opening speeches natalie says she played the best game she could and her social skills. phillip says his strategy didn’t work his original one but he had to rethink. rob says he was lucky to be on omtepe at the start but said he did the best he could. the jury starts with andrea who says phillip is weird and his different personalitties and doesn’t answer the question. she says natalies relation with rob and says it was not about friendships and makes a mistake. ashley doesn’t want to hear from phillip but he won’t be quiet she thanks him though for teaching her how to be patient she asks natalie about the blindside she says it was a bigger threa she doesn’t know about rob or wants to do. grant asks natalie about the blindside of him rob says she always asked what to do. ralph says natalie doesn’t do anything on her own. matt says rob is a liar and where he draws the line. julie says they shouldn’t be proud esepcilaly natalie. mike says he enjoyed the experience but doesn’t have much of a question. steve says natalie did well for her age. david gives a weird speech in favour of rob to the jury saying that the others don’t deserve it and says he controlled the game. the jury votes ralph votes for phillip but everyone else votes for rob giving him the million 8-1-0. next up the reunion where rob is congruatlated for winning on his fourth attempt his goal was for everoyne to play with him he mentions kristina finding an idol without a clue early turned the tempo up. the girls say that they knew they couldn’t get rid of rob because of the idol. andrea says she learned that you have to check with everyone. natalie defends her strategy and julie has regrets for her comments. we find out that rob and grants friendship is over at this point. matt talks about his faith. andrea says there is no love interest between her and matt. russell congratulates rob for his game he is asked about throwing the challenge which he doesn’t think is fair and says there is a worry russell says they should keep his number. we hear more about phillips story and from a lady friend of his its not clear if he is an agent. the fanfavourite award is between rob and matt and rob wins 40-36 percent. we also have a wedding proposal from david to carolina (from survivor tocantins) which she says yes. they than preview survivor south pacific which will feature redemption island again and 2 returning players against 16 new players.
next time survivor south pacific ozzy and coach are back plus the worst survivor nerd ever and another love affair is set off.
