ash and friends encounter 3 mighteyna and aa poocheyna in a forrest they are rescued by a forrest ranger who explains why poocheyna isn’t strong enough to evolve yet max wanting to see a pokemon evolve tries to force it but doesn’t work and even tries to get some pokemon to lose on purpose which doesn’t work. but after a team rocket attack it does evolve.
