10 teams stay in guanzhou. the first clue sends them to an accedemy and get a clue from a master. the cowboys try and walk but its too far compared to taxis or subway and by the time they get a cab they are last place. leo/jamal beg their way onto the subway in a weird way. brendon/rachel are 1st to the accedemy getting a clue sending them to a shopping mall with dave/connor just behind. as more teams get the clue to the shopping mall dave/connor are 1st there getting a roadblock clue assemblying a toy car dave takes the roadblock with the instructions in chinese not easy. margie does the roadblock in 2nd with her good record of assembling things in earlier seasons. leo does the roadblock in 3rd and they are supprised the cowboys aren’t there brendon is doing the roadblock. mark is doing the roadblock and gets it done very quickly. flight time will do the roadblock. john and meaghen are also doing the roadblock. the country singers are even ahead of the cowboys getting the clue at the temple but the cowboys get a cab ahead of them. jet is doing the roadblock which has teams nervous. mark finishes 1st sending them to a children culture centre. mallory accidentally leaves marks bag behind which will lead to a fight margie gets it next. caroline does the roadblock in last place and is completly frazelled so jennifer works on getting the 2nd express pass. a stop to check the car reveals that marks back up is missing so they have to go back. leo/jamal can’t find a cab. the country singers work on the cowboys for the express pass as more teams finish including the cowboys so they get it. leaving meaghen and john behind. the next clue is the detour of playing “feather ball” no one chooses the other choice “china cup”. the task is hitting a ball 10 times with your feet. mark/mallory decide to go back against mallories wishes to get the bag (and despite her denying it was her fault). teams start on feather ball as meaghen finishes the task and helps john finish due to their previous season working together. mark/mallory are worried about how far behind they are even though they are probably 8th at this point. no one gets the hang of feather ball quickly. margie/luke are closest at this point but fail on the last one twice so dave/connor get the clue 1st sending them to shamian island prominade margie/luke get it just after carroline/jennifer. brendon/rachel and jet/cord get it next with the globetrotters next and the afghanimals leading to a close foot race between 7 teams for first. with brendon/rachel and carroline/jennifer going for their first first place. the trailing teams start on the feather ball task. brendon/rachel win a foot race for first place just ahead of margie/luke carroline/jennifer dave/connor flight time/big easy, jet/cord and leo/jamal in that order by literally seconds. brendon/rachel win 2500 dollars each. jessica/john and joey/meaghen beat mark/mallory who are eliminated.
