8 teams depart kuala lumper for coloumbo sri lanka. there are two obvious flights a direct one and one via singapore (With only a 30 minute connection) the firs tstop will be a temple. the lead 6 teams get the direct flight leaving at 11pm. margie/luke cab can’t find the travel agency costing them time. brendon/rachel find out that the direct flight is full so they try the tight connection via singapore. margie/luke try standby on the direct flight at this stage the other teams find out the previous leg was a non-elim. margie/luke consider singapore but figure the connection was tight so they risk standby but don’t get on so they are 10 hours behind which is not that good and ends any speculation of whose eliminated. brendon/rachel make the 35 minute conneciton in singapore giving them a 5 minute lead over 6 teams (And 10 hours over margie/luke). the other teams are supprised to see them but find out at this point margie/luke are way behind the clue didn’t open till 545am. the next clue sends them to galle and the king cocunt stand the first 7 teams are all equal on the trains. the next clue is the detour of “fishing pole” requires teams to climb onto fishing stilts and than both catch a fish to recieve a clue. “spin control” requires teams to learn and preform a weird dance. dave/connor jet/cord jessica/john do fishing the others do the dancing. connor gets the first fish and dave nearly gets one soon after. jessica/john are traving trouble. dave gets the fish next putting him and connor in the lead sending them to a garmont factory. globetrotters are 2nd but other teams are having trouble with the detour leo/jamal are 3rd. the cowboys are doing better than jessica/john at the fishing and get the clue in 4th. brendon/rachel are struggling as are jessica/john. margie/luke finally land. jessica/john who are the only team at the detour and are worried so they consider switching detours (there fatal misatke in their season) but they switch. flight time/big easy and dave/connor are 1st to the roadblock requiring them to stitch together a shirt. big easy and connor are doing the task as is jennifer just behind. jet is doing the roadblock as is leo. jessica/john finish the detour as margie/luke get on the train to galle. brendon/rachels speed bump is printing colours on a sri lankan flag. connor and jennifer are working together on the task. brendon/rachel finish the speed bump and brendon is doing the roadblock. connor made a mistake. jessica is doing the roadblock as they arrive. connor gets it first sending them to the rowing club the pit stop jennifer gets it next they are just behind in the race for first. jessica and brendon work together on the task but its the cowboys who get it next. dave/connor win the leg and 5000 dollars each with carroline/jennifer just 2nd. leo gets it 4th. we don’t know what detour margie/luke choose as they are still way behind. jessica makes up time jumping from 7th to 5th at the roadblock and hold that position at the pitstop. brendon beats big easy (who drops from level 1st to 7th) but flight time/big easy beat them to the pitstop by paying the bus driver not to stop. margie/luke are eliminated.
