6 teams depart rome for bangerorio italy by self driving and there is a u-turn ahead. dave/connor think the world of the country singers and work together until the girls get seperated and lost. leo/jamal are a bit concerned about their history of u-turns while the globetrotters are quite lost. the next clue is a detour of “donkey run” teams must go through a course in a certain amount of time on a donkey “donkey build” requires teams to assemble a donkey which is not easy. brendon/rachel originally choose donkey build but switch due to finding the other detour. dave/connor choose donkey run. rachel is having trouble with the donkies as they don’t tell dave/connor where the helmets are. brendon/rachel get it 1st sending them to hostella de ponte where the u-turn is rachel wants to u-turn the cowboys but brendon decides to u-turn dave/connor (who are right behind them and a big threat). country singers and globetrotters are very lost. brendon/rachel decide to u-turn dave/connor in the end which will anger them a lot this leads to brendon/rachel disagreeing as well and the next clue sends them to orvieto. the cowboys use the express pass on the donkey build detour putting them ahead of dave/connor briefly but in the foot race to the u-turn dave/connor get ahead of them. country singers are very lost as the afghanimals turn up to see teams running. dave/connor are shocked to be u-turned and in a odd move u-turn the afghanimals. dave/connors anger is not entirely justified as they are the biggest threat. dave/connor work with the afghanimals on the donkey build. the roadblock is doing caligeraphy rachel is doing the task. the country singers who are briefly mad at dave/connor choose donkey build which is harder detour. jet is doing the roadblock (again doing the arts and crafts task). the afghanimals switch detours (not that they won’t have to finish the other task). meanwhile the globetrotters are so lost they haven’t turned up yet they finally turn up with still a chance they choose the donkey riding task which is really hard for them supprisingly so they switch to the other task. the angry teams arrive at the roadblock connor and carroline are doing the task. the globetrotters are having trouble at donkey build now. rachel gets the pitstop clue 1st sending them to orvietos town center and a nearby piazza the pitstop. the cowboys are 2nd out of the roadblock as brendon/rachel win the leg and 7500 dollars each. leo i think is doing the roadblock. the globetrotters are trying to catch up as the country signers finish the roadblock. the globetrotters compare themselves to josh/brent (who won season 21 after not being close to the front of the pack all race). connor wants to take the penalty as leo finishes the task and helps connor finish. the country singers are quite lost flight time is doing the roadblock. the afghanimals pass the country singers for 3rd and the globetrotters are eliminated. dave/connor win a foot race for 4th.
