4 teams depart selive for liverpool england by train and plane evening the teams and anfield stadium they also have to score two penalty kicks against a professional goal kicker. in england they start equal brendon/rachel take the lead out of the airport. but leo/jamal are 1st to the ground and are confident having played soccer a lot they and the country signers don’t want history to repeat itself and be eliminated in the second last leg. they do get the first goal before anyone turns up and the second the cuontry singers are 2nd to get there with brendon/rachel just behind them. dave/connor are a bit lost. the afghanimals finish before anyoneelse scores sending them to a aqueduct in wales for their next clue. the country singers have no soccer experience dave/connor turn up as leo/jamal are leaving. brendon/rachel finish the task ahead of the country singers and dave/connor (who just arrived). dave/connor struggle with the task (a rarity for them in either season) but get it in last. brendon/rachel find leo/jamal at a petrol stop. the country singers are 1st there just ahead of brendon/rachel for the roadblock of reciting welsh poetry after learning it perfectally with emotion. carroline, brendon are doing the roadblock as is connor and jamal. it reminds the afghanimals of austria which they did well at (finished that leg in 2nd). brendon goes first and fails so does caroline. no one gets it the first time. brendon does better the 2nd time and gets it right as does caroline but jamal struggles with the task. connor is also wrong. jamal fails a third time. the next clue sneds them to a castle as jamal and connor struggle but connor gets it after jamal leaving them in last. the next clue is the detour of “shoot it” shooting at clay pigeons with a shot gun, “boot it” requires teams to throw water-filed boots of a certain size. boot it is what brendon/rachel are doing. the country singers and dave/connor do shoot it (dave/connor are ahead of the afghanimals now). we find out that appartently the country singers are related to david boon and john wayne (possibly annie oakley appartently). leo/jamal are very lost and know they could be behind. shoot it is easier despite the wind but after getting the first they miss a few the country signers but have 6 due to carolines efforts. dave/connor have a few though brendon/rachel aren’t doing bad. the country signers are 1st to get the pitstop clue (for possibly the first time ever) peckforton castle but dave/connor are just behind and navigating gives the guys the edge and their 5th first place finish. leo/jamal are only just at the detour and choose shoot it as brendon/rachel realise they did the wrong size boots. leo/jamal are doing ok on the shooting dave/connor win the leg (their 5th) and a trip to fiji. the country signers continue to rack up more non-first place finishes (now at 22 4 more than the previous record). rachel is struggling to throw the boots. it is close for last place but brendon/rachel finish the detour in 3rd and survive while the afghanimals are eliminated.
