4 teams depart singapore for manila philapines. the first stop is a flower vendor misti/jim fall behind with the flight bookings but not by much and they land a bit after 11pm (the first flight). misti/jim are overconfident still. brooke/robbie lie about what happened with the merlions to amy/maya which doesn’t help anything. the vendor doesn’t open till 630am evening the teams. the next clue is by a jeepney to a memorial plaza and selina specials. the next clue is a detour of “catch” requires teams use a bucket to transport fish to shore “coach’ requires teams to assemble a side car. only brooke/robbie choose catch. the fish task is slightly harder with the waves. the coach task is requires skills in putting things together. amy/maya are behind finding the detour. misti/jim are doing well at coach but are wrong somehow. misti/jim are still having trouble finding their error. brooke/robbie are 1st out of the detour sending them to rice fields from season 5 the place of the infamous ox challenge. adam/bethany get te clue 2nd. jim realises a mistake but are wrong stil. amy/maya also have an error. the next task is the switchback of having to plow a field with an ox that lead to a massive meltdown in season 5. brooke/robbie are in the lead at this point but have trouble with the ox. the trailing teams are still at the detour but misti/jim get it before am/maya who finish it eventually. directing the ox is quite hard. amazingly misti finds it first sending them on foot to the pitstop but even more supprisingly amy/maya find it not long after. misti/jim win their fifth leg in a foot race with amy/maya (the prize is a trip to vietnam). adam/bethany beat brooke/robbie who are spared by a non-elim coming from behind on the foot race.
