9 teams stay in ho chi minh city. the first stop is snow town saigon where chris/brets speed bump will be which opens at 630am. the next stop is a scuiter school the speed bump is delivering snowballs. teams fight for cabs as rachel/elissa fight with corine/elizas over a cab which leads to bad blood between them. teams are having cab problems though. the next task is a roadblock of
Once here, teams would find another person in a polar bear suit next to a clue box with Roadblock information inside. Who feels like driving yourselves crazy? The chosen team member would have to pass a driving exam in order to earn a scooter license. They would have to drive a scooter along a marked course on the ground, which included figure eights, swerves and speed bumps. Teams could not go outside of the lines painted on the ground, or touch the ground with their legs. the afghanimals start first but fail a few times as you can’t touch the ground as elissa also has trouble. the afghanimals get the clue 1st sending them to binh quoi village. where the detour is
Irrigation: Teams would receive a collection of bamboo pieces and rubber tying, and had to use it to finish building a locally-made irrigation wheel. If teams could build the device correctly, they could use it to fill a jar with water. Once it was full, teams would receive their next clue.Leo & Jamal, Rachel & ElissaIrritation: Teams had to get into a basket boat and paddle themselves down the canal. Along the way, men in other basket boats would try to interfere by making waves, splashing them and getting in the way. Halfway along the canal, teams had to carry their boat over a bridge to get on the other side. irrigation is much easier and not as much detial orientated. corine/eliza is behind at the roadblock putting them last at the detour. rachel/elissa struggle with the detour. eliza is stilll having trouble with the scitour task. the pitstop is tam vu park where an unaired headtohead as well as a close race for first colin/christie win a trip to dominican republic over nicole/victor while leo/jamal drop a bit. its close but corine/eliza are eliminated.
