8 teams depart vitenam for dubai on the same flight. the first clue is at a super car party. the teams search for a clue in the cars which sends them to dubai frame. rachel/elissa have trouble with their cab. the frame is big and high and is where the detour clue is.
Fall: Teams would be told that they would be ‘jumping off of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world’. Once here, teams would choose a jumping instructor who would take them up the tower to ‘Mission 828’, a tourist attraction featuring a virtual reality experience using the HTC Vive. Both team members had to complete the digital challenge, which would put them in the role of a spy on a dangerous mission in the tower, which would culminate in skydiving off the top of the tower. After the experience, both team members would be given a five-question quiz about what they had just experienced. If both team members provided all five correct answers, they would get their next clue.Colin & Christie, Leo & Jamal, Rachel & Elissa, Tyler & KoreyFind: At Dubai Garden Glow, teams had to find the Dinosaur Park within this establishment, where both team members had to put on T-Rex costumes. Then, teams had to search the park for five glowing dinosaur eggs, each of which had to be a different color. interesting except team fun all the ex-racers choose fall which is a missleading clue as its virtual reality not an acctual bungee jump there are only 2 spots at the jump though. becca/floyd can’t count as they say there are 10 teams ahead of them (they are not last so there are 6 ahead). rachel/elissa argue over the detour choice and eventually go to jump but take a lot of time. the quiz is trickty as they must agree the first 4 questions are right from leo/jamal but the fifth is wrong. the dinosaur task is easier. the next clue sends them to soho garden. the roadblock there is
At the entrance, teams found a Roadblock. Who can feel the beat? The chosen team member had to enter this establishment, where a silent rave was taking place. Hundreds of dancers would be on the dance floor, each wearing headphones and listening to a different song. Teams had to find the DJ and listen to the song on his headphones, which would be a remix of The Amazing Race’s theme song. Then, teams had to observe the dancers and pick out one of a select few who were listening to this song, based only on their dance moves. If teams found a correct dancer, they would receive their next clue.Floyd, Bret, Christie, Janelle, Leo, Nicole, Rachel, Tyler
it is quite tricky but it is not too hard. team fun are in the lead going to the zipline to the pitstop dubai marina where they win 5000 dollars each. rachel/elissas issues put them last but are spared by a non-elim leg. a lot of the teams are close to the pitstop though.
