At the entrance to this massive canyon, teams found a Roadblock. Who wants to take the scenic route? The chosen team member had to ride a terrifying bungee swing through the canyon, 400ft above the ground in a 70mph freefall. After their jump, that team member had to travel further into the gorge, where they would find a net stretcing across the ravine. the jump is not hard if your not scared. chris/bret are last doing the jump. the next clue sends them by helicopter to a mountain pass. nicole is quite scared at this point. the next clue is a detour of
Water Power: Teams had to travel to the top of the large dam at Gelmersee. To get to the dam, teams would have to ride the world’s steepest funicular. On the way up, teams would see signs with the name and volume of eight of the nearby water reservoirs, which they would have to memorize. At the top, teams would be presented with a map containing only the basins’ volumes, and had to apply labels to them correctly. If correct, they would receive their next clue and could ride the funicular back down.Leo & Jamal, Nicole & VictorWater Down: Teams would choose a canyoning instructor and would be taken in a vehicle to the top of the canyon. They then had to rappel down into the canyon and make their way back to the bottom. Along the way they would overcome steep and slippery terrain, jumps off of small cliffs, a natural water slide, and a small zipline. the memory part is tricky so the other task is slightly easier. leo/jamal are confident though with their choice despite the vanicular waits. and they are 1st to get the pitstop clue sending them to a church for the pitstop but lose the lead due to the wait and the drive. tyler/khorey win the leg though and a spa treatment during the pitstop. navigating puts nicole/victor down to last and are spared by the final non-elim of the season after losing narrowly to chris/bret and rachel/elissa (who there is tension between the old big brother teams).
