7 teams stay in switzerland. the first stop is a town hall in ballenburg where phil will give the teams instructions. the clue won’t open till 7am leading to time for the teams to socalise. this allows rachel/elissa to explain to leo/jamal what happened which doesn’t help. the next thing is a u-turn vote where each teams get to vote on which two teams have to do both sides of the detour which is a bit harsh. nicole/victor vote for leo/jamal (After disagreeing on who to vote for) rachel/elissa becca/floyd and leo/jamal vote for colin/christie who along with chris/bret vote for rachel/elissa, tyler/khorey vote for nicole/victor. so colin/christie and rachel/elissa will do both detours. there is also the speed bump
Before beginning the Detour, Nicole & Victor would have to re-enter the community hall and take down the 28 flags representing the Cantons of Switzerland that were hanging from the roof. They then had to properly fold and store the flags before they could continue.
the detour is
Haymaking: One team member would receive a scythe and had to use it to cut down a lane of grass. Their partner would follow behind and rake up all of the loose grass. They would then stack it properly at the end of the lane, in preparation for making it into hay. If everything was performed correctly, teams would receive their next clue.Becca & Floyd, Chris & Bret, Colin & Christie , Leo & Jamal, Rachel & Elissa , Tyler & KoreyCow Dressing: Following a given example, teams had to use the provided tools and material to build a decorative headdress that would be worn by a cow in a local festival. They would then chose a cow to wear their headdress and lead it through the museum to the area where the festival was taking place. rachel/elissa think getting u-turned was personal not strategical. rachel/elissa lose the detour clue at one point which costs them time as no one helps them but it still doesn’t seal their fate. becca does best at the detour of all of them. the next stop is a farm for the roadblock of
Once at this farm, teams encountered a Roadblock. Who wants to be the big shot? The chosen team member had to take on the role of William Tell and had to use a crossbow to shoot an apple off the head of a scarecrow. If they shot the scarecrow’s head, it and its arms would fall off, and teams would have to repair the scarecrow before trying again. Once the apple was hit, teams would receive their next clue.Becca, Bret, Colin, Jamal, Victor, Rachel, Tyler
this reminds me of the roadblock in season 3. tyler/khorey and team fun lead. leo/jamal get so lost they are last (behid the u-turned teams and nicole/victor). becca who was the only team in that season to do the shotting detour in panama. chris/bret are somehow 1st to get the pitstop clue the grand hotel with no more non-elim legs. tyler/khorey though beat chris/bret for 1st to win a cruise to vietnam and cambodia. colin/christie recover quickly finishing 3rd in the end rachel/elissa lose narrowly and are eliminated.
