At the entrance to this hotel, teams encountered a Roadblock. Who wants to feel the wind in their hair? The chosen team member had to make their way to the roof of this 180 foot-tall hotel and perform a face-first rappel down the side. On a nearby rooftop there were 10 neon letters continuously flashing, which were not described in the Roadblock clue. At the bottom, the team member would be asked to unscramble these letters into a key word: Sauerkraut. If teams couldn’t provide this answer, they had to perform the rappel again until they could give the correct answer. Belt It Out: At the Ballhaus, teams had to dress up in costume and then learn how to sing the German lyrics of the song Ich wollte ich wär’ ein Huhn (I Wish I Were a Chicken). Then, they had to perform the song alongside the Berlin Comedian Harmonists with the aid of cue cards featuring the German lyrics. If they sang everything correctly, teams would get their next clue.Eswar & Aparna, Kaylynn & Haley, Leo & Alana, Will & JamesBelch It Out: Teams had to learn how to perform four sequences of poses in Beer Yoga (Bieryoga), known as “Beer Salutation”, “Beer Chair”, “Beer Boat” and “Beer Dancer” which were interspersed with taking sips of beer. Then, they would have to teach a class how to perform all of these poses correctly.
