ana300 lands in algeria for air france from paris with a crew of 12 the country they are landing in is in civil war that air france don’t know if they should keep flying there. the captain only appears in silohete as he is nervous after the incident. the passengers are just almost finished boarding when “police” board the plane but they are acctually terrorists trying to hijack the flight which has the algerian forces worried which is when the passengers realise they are terrorists from a extremist group. the situation requires the french pm to return from his holiday. the pilots want to take off for paris as does the hijackers but algeria don’t want the plane to leave which will lead to a long christmas stand off (This was christmas eve 1994). the hijackers kill an algerian at this point with a gun. they than kill an vietnamese diplomat who is weirdly enough on the flight. a flight attendant who is nervous tries to say somthing to a hijacker. but it is still a standoff but neither side agre to figure anything out. during the night they turn the apu on this will be critical later. negotiations get 63 woman and children off but it doesn’t help the captain tours the cabin at 2am and finds hijackers asleep. the hijackers mum talks to them which makes even more angry. they kill a 3rd passenger from the french embassy this forces the algerians to let the plane leave for france but because of the apu they can only make marselle. the pilots ask the hijackers if they will destroy the plane before marselle they say no. they are sent away from the terminal and they now won’t refuel or let the plane leave for paris due to the threat they’ll blow the plane up over paris they ask for 27 tonnes of fuel but that won’t be done. eventually they move the plane to the terminal (well the hijackers force the pilots too). the french special forces finally storm the plane on boxing day kiling the hijackers and fixing the problem the pilots are lucky to be alive and not in jail (as they could have been suspected as being hijackers originally). it is later confirmed that the plan was to attack the eifel tower and no one attempts it again till 9/11.
