ash and friends arrive in gringy city which is heavily poluted and pikachu is feeling sick with an electric cold so ash takes it to the pokemon center where the nurse isn’t helpful while team rocket try and swim through the sewers to get to the pokemon center but it doesn’t work due to a power failure which ash and friends head to investigate originally leaving pikachu with nurse joy until pikachu finds them and doesn’t want to be abandoned so ash lets them go on. the grimer is the cause of the problem blocking the system. ash and friends also encounter a magnamite that is attracted to pikachu for some reason. ash and friends encounter the grimer and a muk which misty annoys by commenting on the smell they run into the engineers. the magnamite defeats the poision types. and ash catches the muk which still has the smell but durin the battle pikachu is no longer magantised so all ends well with them finishing off team rockets magnet. muk is sent to professor oak.
