a china airlines boeing 747 is on its way from taipei to lax when the main crew take back over command of the flight as planned. the flight is smotth until they encounter turballance enroute which leads to engine 4 providing weak thrust causing the plane to lose speed and it looks like it failed the crew try and relight it but it doesn’t work yet and the plane banks hard and slows down causing the crew to disconnect the autopilot which doesn’t help as the plane falls towards the sea people get hurt and the plane is out of control after a 30000 feet dive the plane gets under control again nad recovers but the gear is forced down and the injuries are bad enough they need to divert to sanfransisco even after regaining engine power the rest of the flight proves uneventful and they land safely with no deaths. the cause was the pilots mishandling the engine issue which was expected as it had recent trouble.
