ash and friends encounter a storm and have to hide in a old building thinking its empty but a woman named duplica who is a trainer and her ditto (a pokemon that transforms and is in a pikachu form). duplica is dressed as ash and reveals that ditto can’t change its face which is an issue. ash doesn’t think its interesting so he battles duplica using baulbasaur against ditto which ditto wins and ash understands now the power of the ditto. duplica shows her costumes of nurse joy and officer jenny among others. ash feels down after losing and thinks its a fake strategy but its not (the ditto) but duplica partly explains it but also says the face is the issue that makes her show not popular. team rocket show up and steal ditto so they send pidegotto and zubat after it. team rocket try and use ditto to change into different pokemon and other things such as dratini and a kid jessie had a crush on but it won’t do it. team rockets threats get ditto to fix its face at this points ash and friends immitate the team rocket motto to get ditto back. team rocket try and trick duplica to keep ditto but it doesn’t work.and get sent blasting off.
next time another episode banned than ash might have to say goodbye to pikachu.
