ash and friends continue their journey towards the mountains and find a fork in the road and decide to go the way up the mountain not realising its a really steep monutain. misty and brock want to turn around but ash refuses to and they end up lost but as misty and brock make a plan pikachu gets blown away in the wind forcing ash to go after it following pidgeotto trying to find a way off the mountain. meanwhile team rocket are following them and jessie loves the snow but the others don’t and jessie reminises about her past experiences with it team rocket though lose their balloon due to a wind that hits while they do their motto. after rescuing pikachu ash tries to get to safety and hides in a cave to get warm with charmanders flmae (this ep also aired out of order). but charmander gets tired and ash tries to get the pokemon in the pokeball (even pikachu) but they decide to stay out and help ash stay warm and they survive the storm. ash and friends reunite and even take team rockets balloon to find another town.
